Sep 23, 2024 · I am facing the same issue. Transferring from iPhone 11 to newly purchased iPhone 15 forced me to upgrade to iOS 18 in my new iPhone. ios upgrade got stuck for 5 hours. Repeated factory reset and retry the same process resulted in same issue. iOS 18 update is not complete in all retries. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Dec 11, 2024 · I had the same exact issue on iPhone 16 upgrading to iOS 18.3 using iTunes 12.13.4.4 on Windows. After software extraction the phone restarts and iTunes crashes. Phone gets stuck on Apple logo screen/recovery mode. Retrying with update or restore doesn't help. I had to go to Apple store and they were able to restore using a Mac.

Sep 17, 2024 · i updated yesterday to 18. im on 14 pro. i have the exact same issue. constant frame drops, even on youtube.. restart didnt work, storage is ok. game setting equal to ios 17. the ios 18 update has performance issues and you cant blame the iphone.. im assuming they dont dont do it on purpose since 14 pro should still be a valid phone, right?

FYI it looks like mail is working reasonably well on my iPad running iPad OS 18 but mail on my iPhone running iPhone OS 18 is a bit of a disaster.
