I'm developing some production stuff on a 4090 with ray and vllm, and my throughput gets up to 1000 t/s on 10 requests at once. Keep in mind that OpenAI is taking advantage of this for cost. The biggest benchmark I've seen for throughput is Nvidia's TensorRT LLM getting 12000 t/s on an H200 with LLaMA 13B on 1024 parallel requests.
