A yellow flag, and a special purple flag, have been raised on a beach in Tenerife after a dangerous discovery was made.

Just a four-hour flight and only £20 away, Tenerife awaits with its stunning white sand beaches ... the Canary Islands' largest National Park, but it is also the most visited place in Spain.

This is not the first time the Canary Islands ... at La Pinta Beach in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. They have also recently appeared across much of the southern coast of mainland Spain in recent weeks.
