(CNN) — Colombian pop superstar Shakira will perform in Lima, Peru, this Monday, after cancelling a show Sunday night due to an abdominal issue which required hospital admission.

The Colombian singer was taken to the emergency room in Lima forcing her to disappoint fans who were readied to see her.
