Lionel Messi's first-ever time in Jamaica left the whole country in a state of excitement as he arrived with his Inter Miami side for the Concacaf Champions Cup.

Lionel Messi came on in the second half of the match between Inter Miami CF and Cavalier FC in the Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16 second leg, scoring one of the goals in the 2-0 victory. Inter Miami went to Jamaica on Thursday with the mission of securing their place in the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Champions Cup and achieved it with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Cavalier FC.

Fans lined up outside of Independence Park more than two hours before Inter Miami's Concacaf Champions Cup round of 16 clash with Cavalier SC hoping to catch a glimpse of Lionel Messi during a 2-0 victory (4-0 on aggregate) for Miami to move on to the quarterfinals where they'll face Los Angeles FC.
