Trump in his first days in office has leaned in on the idea that OPEC+, the alliance of oil producing nations, holds the key to ending the war by reducing oil prices.

Ukrainian officials are claiming responsibility for a drone attack on an oil refinery southeast of Moscow. This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump said he was ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end what he called the ‘ridiculous war.

I would say they are pragmatic and trusting relations. I can’t help but agree with him that if his victory had not been stolen in 2022, then maybe there would not have been the crisis in Ukraine that arose in 2022.
