In a crippling setback for the Trump administration, House Republicans failed to advance a key procedural vote on a package of legislation including three crypto measures -- a top priority for President Donald Trump.

Thirteen Republicans, mostly hardline conservatives, voted alongside all Democrats to block a procedural vote on the crypto legislative package.

US President Donald Trump intervened to broker an agreement among Republicans after a procedural vote stalled the much hyped “Crypto Week” legislations. House Speaker Mike Johnson was also positive that discussions would continue.
