NBA fans aren't the only ones excited to see Luka Dončić's return to face the Dallas Mavericks after his former team traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The biggest trade in arguably all of sports occurred on Saturday night when the Dallas Mavericks traded their superstar and face of the franchise, Luka Dončić, to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for their superstar Anthony Davis.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards said Wednesday that he wants to be in attendance for a showdown between the two teams, suggesting that he intends to get courtside tickets to the game if his Timberwolves aren't playing the same day the two sides square off in Dallas.

At this point, Mavericks general manager/rogue agent of chaos Nico Harrison might be the only person on Earth who doesn't think trading Luka Doncic to the Lakers was one of the most baffling decisions in NBA history.

Luka Doncic will be heading to the Los Angeles Lakers after the Dallas Mavericks traded him for Anthony Davis as part of a three-team deal. Now, Luka will be the superstar of the future in LA following LeBron's departure, while the Mavs aim for a win-now move, pairing Davis with Kyrie Irving.
