The NFL has moved the Rams’ wild-card playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings to Arizona after days of devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

As the Rams prepared Thursday to face the Vikings amid fires in Southern California, the NFL announced that the Monday night playoff game has been moved to Arizona.

Minnesota missed the playoffs last season, and following the 2022 season, it was Jones that ended their run on Wild Card Weekend. His 301 yards and two touchdowns earned him a sizable payday and put the nail in the coffin for defensive coordinator Ed Donatell.

The Minnesota Vikings are considering a significant shake-up to their quarterback depth chart, one that would put newcomer Daniel Jones in position to play if starter Sam Darnold is injured or ineffective in the playoffs.

A couple of days after the Vikings signed quarterback Daniel Jones to the active roster, they left the door open for him potentially moving up the depth chart. Notably, coach Kevin O’Connell did not commit to quarterback Nick Mullens as the backup when the topic came up during his weekly press conference.
