California Gov. Gavin Newsom is suing Fox News for $787 million, accusing the media outlet of defamation in its coverage of a recent phone call between him and President Donald Trump.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Friday filed a $787 million defamation lawsuit against Fox News, alleging misleading comments about his phone call with President Donald Trump. The suit was filed in Superior Court in Delaware,

Newsom is suing in his personal capacity, and named a handful of Fox personalities such as Jesse Watters and John Roberts.
