There’s another little royal in the British line of succession. Princess Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, has welcomed her second baby with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Athena’s arrival will place Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, back one place to 12th in line. Eugenie’s children, August (born in February 2021) and Ernest (born in May 2023) will be pushed back to 13th and 14th place respectively.

Princess Beatrice has given birth to her second child, a daughter named Athena, Buckingham Palace has announced - shifting the line of succession in the Royal Family once more.
