Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn got honest about the new boxing promotion headed by Dana White and Turki Alalshikh.

Eddie Hearn has joked that he is "totally finished" following Dana White's entry into the boxing business alongside Saudi supremo Turki Alsheikh. The UFC boss and Alsheikh have finally announced their long-rumoured boxing venture together.

Eddie Hearn spoke about this during a recent interview with The Stomping Ground where he reacted to the news of TKO’s involvement. Hearn said whilst he welcomes them into the sport, he believes that this move proves what a strong position boxing is in right now, rather than the idea that it needs “fixing” to some degree.

Eddie Hearn discussed Dana White and Turki Alalshikh’s new boxing league in a recent interview with Boxing King Media. There, the head of Matchroom stated that he has “no fear” of the two. Given his roster comprised of the likes of Anthony Joshua, Conor Benn, Katie Taylor and more, it’s hard to blame him.

Although Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn isn't part of the formation of a proposed boxing league involving TKO and Saudi Arabia, but he believes it has a chance given the powerbrokers behind it.

The undisputed king of boxing promotion, Eddie Hearn, may have some competition on his hands after the breaking news that UFC CEO Dana White is entering the boxing promotion game alongside Saudi Arabian promoter Turki Alalshikh.

Eddie Hearn is unfazed by Dana White and the Saudis’ decision to launch a boxing league. TKO Group Holdings Inc. and the Saudi Public Investment Fund’s subsidiary company, Sela, have come together to launch the new venture.
