John Cena shocked the wrestling world by turning heel at the 2025 Elimination Chamber, attacking Cody Rhodes. His actions set up a highly anticipated return on WWE RAW, where fans expect a new persona and further developments in his storyline with Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes addressed John Cena‘s actions at WWE Elimination Chamber on the March 7th episode of WWE SmackDown. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes appeared on Friday’s show. This marked his first appearance since John Cena turned heel and attacked him at WWE Elimination Chamber.

WWE Smackdown’s return to Knoxville just got even bigger. John Cena has been added to the list of wrestling stars appearing at WWE Smackdown in Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center on May 30. Food City Center made the announcement March 5.

Just days after John Cena's shocking heel turn, WWE has announced him for more upcoming events.
