Everton owners The Friedkin Group are "delighted" with the impact made by David Moyes since his return to the club as manager. The experienced Scot replaced Sean Dyche in January and has overseen a run of seven unbeaten games, with just a solitary defeat coming in his first game against Aston Villa.

David Moyes felt Everton deserved more after they were denied another victory by inspired Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken. Jake O’Brien’s first Everton goal did at least stretch their unbeaten run to seven Premier League matches after a 1-1 draw in west London.
