BWX Technologies (NYSE:BWXT) +3.1% post-market Monday after saying it secured contracts valued at more C$1B for two nuclear energy projects that will support initiatives by Ontario Power Generation, including the life extension of the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station and the introduction of a new small modular reactor at the Darlington site.

BWX Technologies has secured contracts worth more than C$1bn ($695.4m) to support Ontario Power Generation's (OPG) nuclear projects, focusing on the Pickering life extension and Darlington small nuclear reactor (SMR) deployment.

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has awarded BWX Technologies Inc. (BWXT) more than C$1 billion ($694.8 million) for two major nuclear projects: A life extension of the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station and the deployment of a new small modular reactor (SMR) at the Darlington site.
