Aaron Glenn's departure comes days after Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson left to become the head coach of the Chicago Bears.

New York hired Glenn, most recently the Detroit Lions defensive coordinator, as their next head coach, ahead of his scheduled in-person interview with New Orleans. It’s a five-year deal, according to league sources.
